Privacy
Short version: no accounts, your grades stay on your device.
Calculations
Every calculator runs in your browser. Grades, scores and GPAs you type are not sent to our servers.
Saved inputs (localStorage)
To save you retyping, each calculator remembers your last inputs in your browser's localStorage on this device. Nobody else can see them, and they never leave your device. You can remove them at any time:
Syllabus reader
On the weighted grade calculator, if you choose to paste syllabus text and press "Fill my categories", that text is sent to our server and to an AI model through Vercel AI Gateway to extract grading weights. It is used only to answer that request and is not stored by GradeWise. Please don't paste names, student IDs or other personal information.
Analytics
We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies and does not collect personal data.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as IP address) to serve pages and prevent abuse.
